Jordan exceeded expectations in school ball at North Carolina and helped lead Team USA to a gold decoration in the 1984 Olympic Games. Wearing the Air Jordan 1, Michael Jordan sailed in his newbie year. Jordan earned a spot on the All-Star group, completed third in scoring (28.2 ppg), brought back the Bulls once again to the playoffs, and of course was Rookie of the Year.
